Charlotte Sullivan Wild credits Ascension scholars with helping her get her book, “The Amazing Idea of You,” published. She sent Ascension a copy of her book and a note that explained. In 2015, she was invited to conduct a writing workshop with our 5th graders. Charlotte was amazed by the poems and stories, and she shared with them a poem called “Inside This Apple.” The scholars gave her suggestions on how to improve the poem, and a month later she sold the story, which became the book. She enclosed a copy of the book with this inscription: “To the amazing students of Ascension Catholic School: May your ideas grow into something amazing!
