Ascension School’s Marathon for Nonpublic Education is happening Saturday, Oct. 9. This is the first year the marathon is being held on a non-school day, and it is the biggest fundraiser our scholars and families do for the school. It is being held at St. Margaret Mary Church, 2322 Zenith Ave. N in Golden Valley. It’s a 2-mile walk/run/ride. You can cheer on the scholars or complete the course with them. We are asking each scholar to raise $50 by asking friends and family to sponsor them for the marathon. Some scholars have a hard time doing that.
