Princess was the first in her family to come to Ascension Catholic School; that was three years ago and the transition wasn’t easy. She had to adjust to our behavior expectations and to come to believe in her heart that she could succeed.
Last year, her older sister Faith joined her, along with kindergartners Dorcas and Divine. Their mother, Angerline, is so grateful for the changes she sees in her children. The twins are calm and peaceful, able to play together without constant supervision. The older girls are getting along better, too, and have better self control.
Angerline credits the change to Ascension’s emphasis on social-emotional learning and faith. All four children believe they can and will succeed.
